Peller Estates
For dining, there are two delicious options at the estate:
Peller Estates Terrace Wine Bar
Peller Estates Terrace Wine Bar is a great spot on a beautiful sunny day with gorgeous vineyard views!
During the warmer months, I always enjoy dining on their terrace for casual meals!
On our most recent visit to Peller Estates Terrace Wine Bar this summer, my husband and I enjoyed our al fresco meal:
- Ontario cheese board
- served with preserves, grainy mustard, icewine jelly, pickled vegetables
- lobster poutine
Peller Estates Terrace Wine Bar is one of our top recommendations for Niagara-on-the-Lake restaurants with a view for a snack and a glass of wine!

Also, another reminder to book a reservation in advance on OpenTable as the terrace is extremely popular in the summer, especially on weekends!
Peller Estates Winery Restaurant
I have dined at this lovely restaurant several times with friends and family! The a la carte menu and chef’s tasting menu are both delicious!
This year, OpenTable awarded The Winery Restaurant at Peller Estates :
- “Top 100 Restaurants for Outdoor Dining Canada” for 2024
- “Diners’ Choice” for 2024
Inside, the restaurant’s décor is elegant. Therefore, for a memorable experience, I do recommend dining inside for a special occasion such as a birthday or with out-of-town guests.
This beautiful restaurant serves lunch and dinner throughout the year. And service is always excellent from my experience!
Food recommendations at the Winery Restaurant:

- great to start and share! We also had this at the Peller Estates Terrace Wine Bar, pictured above!
- Signature Lobster Linguini:
- indulge in a rich and decadent meal! The fresh pasta has black truffle and icewine poached lobster!

Lastly, not only do we enjoy dining here, but Peller Estates is one of our favourite wineries to visit in Niagara-on-the-Lake!
A tour at Peller Estates is highly recommended and our experiences at this winery have always been fun!

Oaklands Restaurant at Riverbend Inn
Located inside the beautiful Riverbend Inn, Oaklands Restaurant is another one of our top Niagara-on-the-Lake restaurants with a beautiful view to dine at!
My husband and I stayed at Riverbend Inn and enjoyed our delicious brunch at Oaklands Restaurant on the beautiful terrace!

Oaklands is a “seasonal restaurant” (spring to September 30) for lunch and dinner, open to the public.
You can enjoy a gorgeous view of the vineyards from their “sister property” next door, Peller Estates, while you dine outside!
For breakfast, the restaurant is open daily for guests and the public.

Inniskillin Winery Niagara Estate
For casual, outdoor dining, the Grill at Inniskillin Winery is delicious!
This summer, we visited Inniskillin with my mom! It was a beautiful, sunny summer day and we went early enough that we got a table right away at the Grill.
The outdoor dining area by the vineyards had a canopy to provide shade for all diners. We were welcomed and provided friendly service throughout our visit!
For lunch, we all enjoyed our bottle of wine and the food we ordered! We can recommend all our dishes!
- peach burger
- “beef brisket & chuck patty, peach mayonnaise, arugula, grilled peaches, aged white cheddar”
- caprese salad
- we added grilled shrimp to the salad (for an additional charge)
- peach cobbler cheesecake!
- yummy dessert! Order it and enjoy!
We recommend checking out Inniskillin Winery Niagara Estate’s Grill for a casual lunch or snack, with a glass of wine!
Outdoor dining is seasonal, open Friday, Saturday, Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Dining is first come, first serve; no reservations.
According to their website, cheese and charcuterie is available Monday to Thursday. However, please confirm directly with the restaurant what is available during your visit and time of year.
