If you are looking for a hotel in downtown Nashville, the Hyatt Centric Downtown Nashville is in a great location and surpassed our expectations!

We recently returned from a short and very enjoyable vacation in Nashville, Tennessee! We were travelling to Nashville for a concert at the Ascend Amphitheater and decided to stay for a few days! It was our first time in the city, and we had a wonderful stay at the Hyatt Centric in Downtown Nashville! We share pictures and our review of this boutique-style hotel where we stayed for three nights.

Be sure to also check out our article on our Nashville Golf Cart Tour where we went sightseeing, explored the city’s awesome murals, and tasted moonshine and whiskey at a popular distillery!

Location of hotel in Downtown Nashville:

The hotel, located at 210 Molloy Street, was an excellent base to attend our concert at Ascend Amphitheater and explore downtown Nashville. The Ascend Amphitheater is a two-minute walk from the hotel, at the end of the street. The short walking distance was important for us as the concert ended late in the evening in a city unfamiliar to us.

The Hyatt Centric Downtown Nashville hotel location is great for first time visitors. Centrally located, visitors can explore the downtown area on foot without having to take a taxi or public transportation for many of the city’s main attractions. It was a short walk to restaurants, and many other of the city’s attractions, including:

  • Broadway – 5-minute walk as the hotel is two blocks south of Broadway.
  • Country Music Hall of Fame – 5-minute walk
  • Bridgestone Arena – 8-minute walk
  • Ryman Auditorium – 10-minute walk
  • Assembly Food Hall & Hattie B’s Hot Chicken – 10-minute walk
  • Ole Smokey Moonshine Distillery – 10-minute walk

We enjoyed the brunch buffet available on the weekend and service was friendly and attentive!

For breakfast, we also ordered room service from Ella’s. We enjoyed the “mascarpone stuffed French toast” from “Nona’s Favorites” on their breakfast menu!

The bar in Ella’s was also very nice and had people enjoying drinks during the weekend!

Additional Notes & Tips

Optional Breakfast Package: we booked a hotel package on Booking.com, where we had a delicious breakfast included daily, from Ella’s restaurant! We had a $50 daily credit available to use at Ella’s restaurant. Therefore, be sure to review your hotel bill when you check-out to ensure any necessary adjustments have been made. We had to inform reception upon our check-out of the breakfast inclusion in our hotel package. As such, our final bill was adjusted accordingly for each breakfast.

Hyatt Centric Downtown Nashville Hotel Room Service: Note that we were charged the following fees for room service:

  • Delivery fee $5.00
  • 20% Room Service Charge of the subtotal (before tax)

The Pancake Pantry: this popular breakfast restaurant in Nashville is located next to the hotel, in the same building. Expect lines for this restaurant on the weekends and take a look at their mural on the side of the building.

Convenience Store: located around the corner of the hotel lobby on 3rd Ave S. We purchased our bottled water here to bring back to our hotel room; there were two bottles of water in the room for $4 each.

Conclusion

Firstly, we expected to experience a fun city, but Nashville really did surpass our expectations! Certainly, our stay at the Hyatt Centric Downtown Nashville contributed to our great vacation!

We can highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting downtown Nashville, particularly if you are attending a concert at Ascend Amphitheater like we did! Our hotel room was immaculate and everything about the hotel still seemed very fresh and new. Overall, the Hyatt Centric Downtown Nashville hotel provides an ideal location to explore downtown Nashville and we loved the “boutique hotel” feel! Enjoy “Music City”!
