Hotel Metropole Venezia is a five-star hotel which offered the perfect stay and location for us in Venice, that is elegant and unique. Excellent for sightseeing, the hotel is located close to the Piazza San Marco (St. Mark’s Square) and other attractions in the city. Service was always excellent and the hotel contributed to an extraordinary stay in Venice, Italy.
Although the exterior is understated, once inside, the hotel décor is beautiful and captivating. From the moment we arrived, the service and attention to detail was wonderful. Tired from a long flight, the hotel offered us refreshments in the beautiful garden while we waited for our room.
The outdoor space is truly “a green oasis in the heart of Venice” as described in their website. Decorated with lovely seating, trees, and plants, the area is a relaxing, splendid space for guests.

We stayed three nights in a “Prestige Room” which was spacious and charming. The room had wood furnishings, a four-poster canopy bed, and eclectic and traditional décor. There was also a spacious separate living room adjacent to the bedroom which had a television, couch and window for natural light.
Additionally, we chose a hotel package which included a delicious breakfast everyday. There was fresh fruit and a variety of choices each morning.
The hotel amenities and lounges were gorgeous, decorated with elegant pieces and furnishings.
We enjoyed returning to the hotel each day after exploring the city to a quiet and exquisite ambiance.
