Moorea is a volcanic island in French Polynesia that is beautifully lush and incredible to explore. We spent several days on this beautiful island before flying to Bora Bora. If you are looking for what to do in Moorea, we share two amazing activities we booked during our stay on the French Polynesian island!

Moorea Half Day Tour and ATV
We highly recommend an ATV Moorea Tour to see the magnificent island!
Our half-day excursion was excellent as it combined sightseeing and an incredible adventure by ATV.
People were able to choose whether to drive solo or as a couple. It was also great that it was a small group which included three other couples. A helmet, light rain gear, and bottled water were provided. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable, and we always felt safe with the group. We went to several sites and stopped and explored the lush, beautiful island.
The group stopped at the Belvedere Lookout to take pictures at this beautiful lookout for the view of Cook Bay and Opunohu Bay.
Some photos were also taken by the guides that were emailed and downloadable for free. Having several photos taken by the tour guides was great as we certainly could not take some of the shots ourselves.
This half day tour was a fun and memorable day! It was an amazing way to see Moorea and leave the resort for some adventure!

Polynesian Show at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa
The Polynesian Show that was at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa was fantastic! We were guests staying at the Hilton, however people not staying at the resort could also buy tickets for the dinner and French Polynesian show.
TIP: In our opinion, the best seats are outside on the terrace of the restaurant! We were seated here, under the sky and stars, as you can see from our pictures below! The performances were directly in front of our table and the live musicians next to us on our left!
The evening started out with a delicious buffet dinner. There was a variety of food offered including various meats, seafood, salads, and desserts.
There were a few performances throughout the night which included male and female Polynesian dancers in traditional dress, Polynesian musicians and instruments and singers.
We had great outdoor seats on a beautiful evening, close by the musicians and band. At the end of the show at the restaurant, the dancers also offered to pose with guests for pictures!
The evening continued with solo and group fire performances on the beach. Do not miss the fire dancers! It was a spectacular fire dancing show on the beach with the musicians and performers! Also, be sure to follow us, Nurture Happiness Today on Instagram, for videos and more pictures!
The dancers and performers at the Polynesian show that performed at the Hilton Moorea Lagoon Resort and Spa worked incredibly hard and put on a sensational show. It was truly a memorable evening that Nurture Happiness Today TRAVEL highly recommends!
Enjoy exploring Moorea and French Polynesia!
