We love dim sum! In this article, we share our favourite restaurants for dim sum in Toronto. There are a multitude of restaurants that serve dim sum although it seems like you will almost certainly still have to wait in line, particularly on the weekends, at least at ones that are on our list below. Nonetheless, for dim sum, we definitely make an exception and we are willing to wait if the food is worth it!
Although the carts being pushed around the restaurants are gone from my younger days, heading out for dim sum is still a regular foodie outing for me!

Sky Fusion Cuisine
Located in Markham, this restaurant is our newest discovery and has been added to our go-to list of restaurants for dim sum. It is located in a plaza, often busy, as there is also a Costco nearby.
Not only is the food delicious, but the restaurant is spacious and nicely decorated with several large chandeliers and aquariums that hold fish and seafood. In addition to its dinner menu and dim sum, the restaurant offers dinner specials, set menus, and can host gatherings and banquets.

Casa Victoria Fine Dining & Banquet
Our “go-to” restaurant for dim sum, Casa Victoria is still my first choice when I want to eat dim sum! Dim sum is always excellent here and never disappoints.
The restaurant is unassuming from the outside as it is located in Markham Town Square, a busy plaza with a large grocery chain store and other shops. However, once inside, the restaurant is spacious and suitable for banquet celebrations. Always bustling with hungry diners, the decor is elegant as you dine surrounded with crystal chandeliers. We often bring visitors here from out of town to enjoy dim sum as well!
Casa Victoria serves fine Cantonese cuisine and dim sum at lunch.

Pearl Harbourfront Chinese Cuisine
Located in downtown Toronto, Pearl Harbourfront Chinese Cuisine has been around since 1983. We have taken visitors here from out of town when in downtown Toronto as the restaurant has great panoramic views of the waterfront. Located at the Toronto Harbourfront, it is nearby other Toronto attractions such as the CN Tower, Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre and Union Station.
Pearl Harbourfront serves Chinese cuisine and dim sum is offered daily from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Perfect Chinese Restaurant
One of the “OG restaurants” on our list, Perfect Chinese Restaurant has been open since 1984. It is a casual restaurant, located in a small plaza in Scarborough, open 24 hours, 365 days a year. The restaurant also serves Cantonese dishes, seafood, and has rooms to host celebrations and gatherings.

Lai Wah Heen Restaurant
***Unfortunately the elegant restaurant, renowned for its delicious cuisine in downtown Toronto permanently closed February 26, 2023.
